Looking for Answers about Destructo D-1 Mid Trucks?

Unfortunately, I do not have this information. For specific manufacturing details such as tread width on the Destructo D-1 Mid Trucks, it might be best to check out the manufacturer's website and try to get one of their Customer Reps involved. This is not information that skaters are normally asking of.

The Destructo D-1 Mid Trucks are a mid truck obviously and will work for technical skating. Most skaters might prefer a 'Low' truck though because being lower to the ground makes some tricks easier, such as the flip tricks. But that is a matter of preference.

If you feel it is the trucks themselves, then you can certainly try exchanging the Destructo D-1 Mid Trucks due to defect. However, the units are precisely machined and it is rare for me to hear of issues with trucks. I would be leery that is might actually be a warp in the deck. Or if you are using risers, maybe those are uneven for some reason. But you would know best whether it is the trucks are not. If it is, I can't think of a way to correct the situation without altering the trucks or using an uneven riser pad.

Sometimes what will happen is that the sample item, or picture, that is given to us by the vendor doesn't match the actual product from production. We can not control what comes off the production lines of our vendors and most times will just keep the item to sell anyways, even if it doesn't match the sample image or item. We can correct the images online; but since the catalogs are already printed and sent out, we have no way of fixing those incorrect catalog images. The Destructo D-1 Mid Trucks in the Silver style does have the black bushings as pictured on the website.
