Hi so I just ordered two pairs of theses pants, one in burgundy and one in dark khaki. They are both size 36, and the burgundy ones fit great. However, the dark khaki are about and inch shorter in the inseam. My question is why is that? It's the same style and same size so shouldn't the pants be identical except for the color.
I would recommend contacting our Customer Service Team, explain the situation, and try to get them to work with the return ship cost so you can exchange the men's KR3W K Slim Twill Pants for a larger size. One explanation for the different fit is that the pants were produced in two different locations. I've noticed identical jeans in some brands are manufactured in different countries and sometimes the fit isn't exactly the same. Or it could be that one colorway was manufactured at a different time and the settings on the machines weren't set identical. You can see patterns with sizing in the garment industry, yet there are a lot of variances with fabrics and the fit can fluctuate at times.
They should have similar fit. It seems when I need to measure different brands in Slim Fit sizing, the dimensions of each jean tends to run the same, regardless of the manufacturer. I'm sure there is some standard that is followed by each vendor so their customers have an idea of the fit. Of course, there will be exceptions. But the men's KR3W K Slim Twill Pants should fit about the same as any other Slim Fit pant.
There is some stretch in the men's KR3W K Slim Twill Pants. To describe is difficult; but for the most part, you shouldn't change your normal size. If anything, if you ordered a size smaller than usual, the spandex in the fabric will help make the size work for you by providing a really snug fit if that is what you are after. The inseam for a 38" waist is 34" long.
