On the colorway black/white is the picture exactly what the shoe looks like?
because there's two types of old skools the one with the fat stripe (as shown) and the one with the thin stripe

Sku #61-22230, the men's Vans Old Skool shoe in the Black/White colorway, might actually be pictured incorrectly. It seems to me that the stripe was a bit thinner, sort of like the Black/Grey style. But since there are so few of these left, I am not sure if the image will get corrected. So please use my image as a reference for your choices as well.

how long would this shoe last without being skated?
im very loyal to fallens when i skate. but i have bad ankles and i was wondering if these shoes would be comfortable enough and good enough for just chilling. and my ankles r bad so would it effect me?.

i too have bad ankles and i usually go for cupsole shoes not vulcanized cause they add more strength and support for your ankle... also midtops are pretty good aswell (cupsole shoes... emerica g-code, nike sb mid blazer, ) usually says in description whether a shoe is cupsole or vulcanized

The men's Vans Old Skool shoe will have most similar fit to the men's Van's Chukka shoe, so to answer your question, it will have a bit of a looser fit. The look of the shoe will also resemble your Chukkas. If the Chukka doesn't look too big on your feet, then the Old Skools shouldn't really look too big on the feet either.
