Looking for Answers about Bones Bearings Reds Bearings?

A lot of skaters I know take them off simply because they like hearing their bearings, as well as the way they look without shields. Some claim they help them spin better, but others don't. I'd recommend keeping them on unless you want to buy bearings more often.

Bearing spacers allow for proper alignment and spacing of your bearings. They are especially necessary when bearings are subjected to hard carving and sliding. The Bones Bearings Reds Bearings do not come with spacers, which are usually not necessary with most boards.

Just Use Bones Bearings Cleaning Unit For Maybe About $7 and After Use Bones Speed Cream Just $5.50!,any thing else Will RUIN THEM,dont use anything around the house just get the Cleaning Unit and Speed Cream,because in the long run Your gona have to get another set in less then 1 Month So Its Not Worth IT!.

The best way to get the dirt from the Bones Bearings Reds Bearings is to use an air hose of some sort to actually 'blow' the debris away from the metal. If no tool is available for this technique, then you should be able to just wipe the bearings down with a clean cloth.

well if you skate street like me you will have your bearings used to going up and down street and ovr a period of time they will get very fast about close to abec 11

They dont have a rating,but i guess its a 8 abec

About an abec7 by most estimates. However Rush bearing you need an abec 11 to be better than reds.

ABEC stands for Annular Bearing Engineers' Committee. This committee works to determine the standards for bearings. The ABEC scale classifies different accuracy and tolerance ranges for bearings. The ABEC does not really affect speed. Regardless of how fast you plan to go, speed is affected first and foremost by the choice of lubricant. Thus, even tho the Bones Bearings Reds Bearings indicate they are a high speed bearing, since the bearing is not ABEC rated, I would not know how to rate these nor what rating to compare them to.

well if u dont ride threw dirt n stuff and you clean them every 2 weeks using acetone in a bones bearing cleaning unit then bones speed cream and keep them in good condition they will spin up to 45 seconds each
but take VERY good care of them

around 45 secs to 1 min 45 seconds

they spin until they stop

without actually counting the seconds i would estimate more than a minute

my friends are about 5 months old and spin about 3:30 min

i have 53mm wheels and for about 30 seconds

Do you mean, when they are spinning freely?

If that is your question the bearings I purchased, spun for about 15+ seconds, and they are great bearings to own.
