The Ricta All Star Team Wheels would work well on wood. Most ramps are made with one form of wood or another and skate wheels have good 'bite' with this material. The first durometer number is for the middle (bottom) of the wheel. The contact point for the wheel to the ground is softer than the actual middle part of the wheel around the axle. This is to keep the wheel more durable where it needs it most...by the axles.
