Unfortunately, it seems we don't have men's styles of the Van's Lo Pro shoe left, so I can not really make an accurate comparison. Since the women's Vans Authentic Lo Pro shoes that we do have left run 1.5 sizes big, I would think the men's version would too. But this is just an assumption. Since the men's adidas Adi-Ease shoe fits 'True to Size', just order your normal shoe size that you might in a running type shoe.

In fact, there were a few that mentioned the shoe feels narrow, which would indicate normal sizing as well. So, the choice is yours, but all signs are saying to order your normal shoe size for the men's adidas Ease Gonz in the Black/White/Black colorway.

With the seamless toe cap & vulcanized construction, the men's adidas Ease Gonz shoe is a decent, durable skate shoe. How long they actually last depends on many factors, one of them being your skating style. Unfortunately, that is one of the drawbacks to the sport, having to go thru shoes a lot. Most times it can only be trial & error until you find a brand that works for you.

The men's Nike SB Stefan Janoski shoes we have listed on the website seem to fit 'True to Size', as does the men's adidas Ease Gonz shoe. So you should probably stick with a size 08.5 as well for this particular adidas shoe.
