The upper of the men's Converse Star Player XLite shoe is a waxed canvas. The shoe is designed for skateboarding and should have a durable enough toe cap to last a while. Pretty much based on how hard you are on the shoes, meaning hardcore skating everyday will obviously tear up shoes faster than a casual cruiser.

The men's Converse Star Player XLite shoe will have a similar fit to an 'All Star' model widthwise. If you are having issues with the width in an 'All Star' shoe, which is a large shoe both length and widthwise, then you must have a wider foot and may have to size up at least a 1/2 size to allow for more room in the shoe.

Question

Actual Size?

Are you able to provide an exact size in inches from heel to toe for the size 12? I know that the description says "true to size" for the Converse Star Player XLite, but I once bought a pair of Converse Star Player 75 sneakers and those ran a size too big just like the All Stars. Thanks.

No, not all Converse shoes run big. The All Star designs usually do, but not some other styles. The men's Converse Star Player XLite shoe does run True to Size and we recommend ordering your normal size.

Question

Shoe size?

Did the size chart change?

Earlier this week the converse 2011 size chart was:

US Men 9.5 Eur 43 CM 27.5

Now it is:

Size 8 US Men 9 Eur 42.5 CM 27.5

Which one is correct, which size should I pick? I need Eur 43 - CM - 27.5.

The men's Converse Star Player XLite shoe does fit 'True to Size'. For your Eur 43, you would need a U.S. size 09.5. We do have two different size charts for the Converse brand, but there would be no reason that one of them has changed recently.
