A low truck, such as the Independent Stage 10 Low Truck, is usually preferred for technical/street riding because they offer more stability for flip tricks. Smaller wheels are used along with harder bushings which can be adjusted to be stiffer to help perform technical tricks.
IS the truck displayed in the picture what it actually looks like? or is it silver like the stage ten standard?

Unfortunately, the Independent Stage 10 Low Truck is still not in stock for me to look at for you. The vendor images are pretty accurate tho. Looking at the picture, you can tell the base part appears as a polished silver, yet the hanger is more of a chrome color. I will definitely look at these for you when they are in stock, but must ask you to please resubmit the question when that happens.

The Independent Stage 10 Low Trucks has a height of 2 1/4", or approximately 57mm, from the axle to the baseplate. The smallest 7.75 would work on a 7.50 deck, but keep in mind the wheels might stick out just a bit. Talking only 1/8" each side, so it will not be very noticeable.
Why are there bends on the hanger near the wheel sockets

We are not sure if there is a functional reason for the design of the Independent Stage 10 Low Trucks. The vendors customer service department may have additional information for you.
