Inspired by the highly coveted Skytop, the Skyboot allows you to look fresh in even the harshest weather situations. Rugged lug outsole. Moccasin-like stitching. Raw leather laces. Imported.
I don't like to get so technical with the answers, but there is only one way to explain the process. SUPRATUF® is a trademark of the vendor explaining the material used in the construction of the upper on the men's Supra Skyboot. SUPRATUF® is tested using the Taber Abrasion Meter. The TABER measures abrasion in cycles. Regular suede goes through about 25 to 40 cycles before abrading. The average SUPRATUF® will go through more than 200 cycles before abrading. In a nutshell, they make sure the boot is durable enough to hold up in extreme conditions.
The men's Supra Skyboot should be decent to use in most weather. It is designed for the more rugged wear and should help keep most elements at bay. There are weather proofing kits for shoes that would also improve the conditioning of the upper on this shoe for superior weather shielding & water protection. But for just trudging around, this is a good choice.
It seems the manufacturer only made this style of the men's Supra Skyboot in sizes up to a 14.0, and a size 15.0 was never offered to us in this shoe. So, unfortunately no, a size 15.0 will not be available thru us for the men's Supra Skyboot.
