Yes, if you are talking general street skating with some tricks and not just 'cruising' the streets. Smaller wheels (48mm-54mm), such as the 53mm Spitfire Cole Camo Awol Wheels, are better for technical tricks. Larger wheels (55mm-59mm) are better for ramp or big jumps. 'Cruiser' wheels are softer urethane (92A-78A durometer) and are generally larger in size (60mm-70mm).
