Great shoe all around. Most people would consider these more of a chill shoe, but they also skate great. Personally, I like thinner shoes because I enjoy good board feel. They're a little low on the ankles, giving you a lot of space for movement. They're not constricting and they feel great on your feet. The only thing I would recommend is changing the insoles. They're not very thick, and you could use a better set if you're looking to do bigger drops. All around, 8 out of 10, and that's cause they wear out rather fast. Not too bad, and they never bottom out.
Pros: breaks in easy, long lasting soles, good board feel, durable, sole keeps grip a long time, comfortable, good grip
Cons: rips easy, laces break easily, non-durable

Get it. Skate it. Love it. Great grip, you can't complain or compete with the price and durability. When it's fresh, you're going to notcie how grippy this stuff is, and you're going to have a problem getting your feet off this stuff when you try to do any kind of flip trick. I swear, you'll love it. Next purchase for you? I think so.
Pros: high performance, durable, good grip, it's straight up mob, steezy

This shoe honestly surprised me. I read the reviews and was just a little skeptic at first, but once I got them I easily fell in love with them. The shoe itself feels amazing on your foot, but I recommend going atleast half a size up from what you normally wear due to the fact that run slim around the middle of your foot. Don't make a mistake by ordering a full size up, because they'd probably slide around a little. But due to the slim profile, they keep your feet locked in and you don't have to worry about your foot falling out of your shoe when doing a trick or even just walking. The impact support feels great, you hardly feel a thing when coming off of something big. So if you're in to big stairs and gaps than these are definitely for you. They have average boardfeel, enough to know what it feels like with your board under you, but then again it's not too much board feel to where it feels like you have no support under you. The laces are higher up on the shoe, which means it's going to take you alot longer to bust out the laces than it would on most other skate shoes. The toe cap is longer than average, ending right below your ankle, so that means the shoe will last you longer, not to mention the toe cap itself is made out of Kevlar(bulletproof vest material), so it's quite tough. But all in all, it's a great shoe, stylish, and will keep your feet thanking you day in and day out.
Pros: good board feel, stylish, durable, comfortable, good grip
Cons: a little narrow add half a size

How long and wide will the grip be?

A standard sheet of single grip tape is 33" long x 9" wide. Don't worry, it'll fit your board as long as you don't get anything larger than an 8.5. If you do, you may have to either special order it or use two sheets of grip tape(although that can look really tacky and ameteur if you do so).
