These suck, even if you're a beginner. I had these shoes when I first started skating, and the suede is very poor. They rip very easy. The padding on the tounge on was alright. The sole also wares out from just walking.
Cons: soles wear out, laces break easily, non-durable, poor suede

 Converse Pappalardo Pro - Men's
Converse Pappalardo Pro - Men's
It doesn't get more New York or street than Anthony Pappalardo's first cons pro shoe. Step up and step in to this Big Apple clasic. Leather upper. Low silhouette. Dual density full length PU insole. High density padded foam collar and tongue. Contoured heel stabilizer. Custom metal eyelets. Grippy gum rubber sole. Vulcanized construction. Imported.

This shoe is very good. There isn't much to say about it since that it's a very simple shoe. There's nothing more that I could've asked for in this shoe. The breathabilty was VERY GOOD in this shoe. You will have nothing to worry about your feet getting hot in this shoe. They break in maybe after about 30 mins of skating
Pros: breaks in easy, long lasting soles, looks great, good board feel, stylish, doesn't rip, durable, good cushioning, sole keeps grip a long time, comfortable, good grip

 Vans Era Pro - Men's
Vans Era Pro - Men's
Sweet classic style has been upgraded to meet the demands of modern day skateboarding. This beloved style features a single-density polyurethane (PU) midsole that keeps the Vans Era Pro lightweight and flexible, while a combination insole stabilizes the heel and elevates flexibility where you need it. Suede/canvas upper tops it all off. Duracap rubber provides extra reinforcement at the toe and ollie patch, so your shoes have a longer life. S hoe flexes at the ball of your foot, heel remains stable. Lace them up easily due to metal eyelets.

These shoes were alright. I mean once you brake them in about after a week, then you start skating them for about two weeks, they're pretty good. Cons on this shoe is the grip. The grip is pretty bad. My foot would usually slip off cause' the sole isn't very grippy. The mid-sole is alright on the grip. I could sometimes kickflip in these shoes. I mean my other flips, like Tre's, Bigflips, etc. were good in these. Other than the grip, everything else was pretty good. One more thing, they're a lot more durable than they look, but I shoe goo'd my stitching in the middle part under the Vans tag.
Pros: good board feel, doesn't rip, durable, laces don't break
Cons: sole loses grip, poor grip

Good Shoe

This shoe has a very comfy insole. The insole kinda molds your foot after walking around in it for about 2 weeks. The toe holds up very well. This shoe isnt the best ive skate, best are SB dunks(mids to be exact), but they were very good. I'm still skating them, but wasnt as good as i expected. The square twos are still a good pair of shoe. I am probably going to buy another pair in the future if they come out with some more e-suede, STI's new strong suede, colorways. Also, the heel is VERY stable, which i like, because they help with heelflips and feel comfy
Pros: good insole, awesome toe, comfy tongue and collar
Cons: not too breathable but still good

Just a rebel with no place to go? Lace up the Dunks and get to where you need to go. Mid-top silhouette gives you a retro look with modern technologies. Premium leather and suede upper offers a durable fit. Injected Phylon midsole and sockliner provide comfort for all-day wear. Re-engineered outsole for flexible grip.

Too good

These shoes are SUPER GOOD. One bad thing was that the lace protection would flap down from Ollies, so it wasn't much of a protection. Everything else is awesome. Has good boardfeel and SUPER GOOD impact support. Toe box also rips, since it isn't seamless (one piece toe cap)
Pros: everything
Cons: lace protection, strap get annoying

Ride the sky in Fallen’s Forte. Suede/canvas upper. EVA insole. Abrasion-resistant outsole. Removable insole. "Jamie’s Forte model is pretty tight. I like it because it’s so clean. It looks like a Vans Chukka but with more padding." -Jack Curtin, Fallen Pro

This shoe was super comfy for the first week, but then the insole starts to flat'n out. The Fortes aren't very comfy either. This shoe wasn't very good, I couldn't Heelflip in them at all. The sole is very good though, it holds up pretty well.
Pros: sole, comfy for first week
Cons: uncomfortable, no padding anywhere, insole, toe gave me blisters
