I'd recommend this flannel. The colors are more vibrant than the picture shows, but that's a good thing. It's actually cyan, yellow, and white in the center stripes. It looks pretty nice. CCS flannels never disappoint.
Pros: stylish, durable, comfortable, warm

As the signature model for Jerry Hsu, you know this kick has a lot of hype to answer to. But fear not, the Emerica The Hsu is built to last through the most intense skate sessions. The suede/canvas upper provides great durability, as well as enough style to keep you lookin’ fly. The flexible vulcanized 400 NBS gum rubber outsole will make your life on the board a whole lot easier. Triple-stitched toecap.

I bought this shoe for the purpose of skating, and it's one of the few purchases I regret. The shoe is not durable at all. It only took me a little over a month to blow a hole through to my sock. In addition to that, there is next to no shock support or foot bed padding. I landed a trick primo and ended up with a bruised heel for a good while. The plastic-rubber heel support in my pair ended up shattering, poking through the inside of the shoe and stabbing me in the ankle. Also, this shoe is too soft. You can take the shoe, and literally fold it in half both ways without a problem. This shoe does not protect your feet in the least. I would not recommend this shoe to anyone who skates.
Pros: good board feel, stylish, good grip
Cons: non-durable, no shock absorption, thin soles

A friend bought these shoes and gave them to me cause he decided he didn't like them. They were a size too big for me but still fit snug, so they run small. These shoes were great for me. They were incredibly comfortable, and skated really well. They grip great, and I loved how they flicked. They had decent padding. Not the most durable shoe out there, but when you skate you expect a shoe to wear down. They still lasted a good few months of daily skating for me. Also, I really was fond of the way they looked. It's a simple, classic styled skate shoe. The ones I had were denim too, and that was pretty cool. The denim tears pretty quick, but they still looked good. Kinda like when you tear jeans.
Pros: good board feel, stylish, comfortable, good grip, great flick

I've owned several pairs of Ipath Grasshoppers over the years. They are absolutely amazing. My personal favorite. I would not recommend the hemp ones if you plan on skating them. As cool as they are, the hemp tears on the grip tape. But anyway, the Grasshoppers are outstandingly comfortable. They have that ankle strap so you can customize the feel of your shoe, I usually do up the strap under the tongue so you can flick your ankle when you skate. But if you're planning on doing bowls or stairs, they'll keep your ankle supported. The shoes are durable and skate incredibly well. The only downside you might see is the thick sole doesn't get very good board feel until you break them in really well. But that sole will last a long time. They have great padding, great shock absorption. And they are incredibly stylish. A lot of compliments on this shoe.
Pros: stylish, durable, comfortable, good grip, good padding, good shock absorption, ankle strap, ankle support, long lasting sole
Cons: poor board feel

I've been skating Reds for years, and quite frankly I don't see a reason to get anything else. I've been skating the same pack of Reds for about 2 years now, everyday skating, and they still spin ridiculously fast. If they start to slow down some, you can skate em and they'll break in so fast you'll think they're new again.
It's true, Swiss are slightly better bearings, but unless you're skating a cruiser deck it really won't make all that noticeable a difference. Besides, the price of these is what makes them wonderful.
Pros: durable, long lasting, great speed, easy to clean, break in super fast, cheap

I bought this shoe looking for a good shoe for skating. All the circa shoes I've owned in the past have been great in terms of skateability, and this pair is no different. What I like about these shoes rather than most Circas however, is that they're wider toward the toe. I have slightly wide feet so this helped me out alot. They skate amazingly well too. I bought the leather ones and they've held up outstandingly to some pretty harsh skating. The ankle strap is also really nice. It keeps your shoes on your feet, even you skate through you're laces during a long session. And if you worry about the look of your shoes, you can just take a wet rag to the leather ones and they look like new again. That assumes you don't skate them though.
So far the only downsides are that the insole that came with the shoe began falling apart in the first month of walking and skating, and there is almost no heel or shock absorption. I tried jumping down a six set and landed hard on my heel. I almost gave up on the shoes.(Heel bruises hurt) But, I got some better soles from an older pair of shoes and put them underneath the ones that came with the Circas and then they were just about the ideal pair of shoes for me.
Pros: good board feel, stylish, durable, comfortable, good grip, ankle strap, easy to clean
Cons: needs better insoles/shock absorption

I bought these shoes on sale thinking they were cheap and going to be alright. I was wrong. They happened to be the best skate shoes I've ever owned. They take a couple days to break in, but when they do, they become so comfortable. The super suede toe lasts an amazing amount of time even under the toughest skating. You get amazing board feel and the sole grips phenomenally. The only problem you might have is that if you get a pair with white soles, they yellow pretty quick. It doesn't look that bad but if your only interested in style it's something to keep in mind. I wasn't really wearing them for looks though so it didn't bother me. If you skate, get these shoes.
Pros: good board feel, stylish, durable, comfortable, good grip
Cons: if you care the white gum yellows quick

How big are the sleeves?

The sleeves are pretty average on the one I got. With the first button on the cuffs I can pull it up to my elbow before it gets tight. Lengthwise it goes to my knuckles when my arms are at my sides.
