had two pairs of these and skated both.
one lasted a month without shoe goo or super glue, other lasted two and a half with only superglue
Pros: true to size, looks good, semi-durable, good board feel, nice flick
Cons: poor padding, laces rip sorta fast

this shoe has lots of stitching but is still really good looking.
The sti insole it comes with made the shoe really tight, but i swapped em
with other ones and broke em in,now they fit fine with the insoles they came with.
Pros: comfy, true to size
Cons: tight at first, hard to keep clean

manuel's Questions

When the Janoski was first dropped, it was truly one of a kind. Never before had a skate shoe incorporated high-tech features, premium materials, and a laid-back, nautical-inspired design. Leather, suede or canvas upper with double stitching in key zones to help deter blowouts. The upper houses perforations over the forefoot to increase airflow. One-piece, heel-to-midfoot overlay for streamlined support. Lightly padded collar for ankle protection and comfort. Cushioning midsole. Vulcanized sole construction increases flexibility. Nike Zoom, low-pro unit sits below for increased performance. Rubber outsole with herringbone traction pattern for lasting grip and easy change of direction.   The Premium SE version of the Janoski contains different features, while maintaining the flexible vulcanized construction and Nike Zoom unit for cushioning. Prem SE: Suede/leather and nubuck upper backed with foam supplies comfort. Prem SE: Coated toe box helps resist wear from flips. Prem SE: Honeycomb midsole for lightweight cushioning. Prem SE: Sticky gum-rubber outsole for flexibility.

I know canvas isn't durable, but what about the side panels?

I know canvas isn't durable but the color way i bought has only the side panels canvas, the rest is suede.
I was wondering if anybody that has skated a pair of Janoskis that had canvas side panels could tell me how durable they are.

The iconic Vans side stripe was introduced to the world in 1977 on the Vans Old Skool. Today’s skaters know the side stripe puts the Old Skool on par with some of the most durable and revered skate shoes ever built. Staying true to its roots after all these years, the Old Skool continues to drop fresh color updates. The Vans Old Skool is still going strong. Vintage, vulcanized rubber outsole construction. Vans’ own waffle grip sole for unmatched traction on the board. Combination suede/canvas upper.

Bobby Worrest's first signature shoe has arrived and this one's a low profile, fully padded beast. Suede/leather upper. Molded PU footbed for added comfort. System G2™ heel cushioning gel insert. Vulcanized gum rubber outsole. Imported.

Do these shoes run true to size?

these shoes do run true to size, its kinda hard to break them in at first,so i swapped the insoles for about two weeks until they were loose enough to switch em back

Slip into the Wino, kick back and watch the days skate footage get logged. Lightweight canvas or suede upper materials. Slim, low profile. Soft cushioned EVA footbed for superior comfort. Grippy outsole made of natural gum rubber. Suede or canvas upper materials. EVA footbed. Natural gum rubber outsole. Removable insole.

are these shoes true size or small or big

Yes, just about. I wear a ten and got a pair in size ten and they fit ok.
they fit even better if you put in insoles from other shoes, like an sti footbed that come in most emerica and etnies shoes.
