i like these shoes, but for me, the double wrapped vulc sole doesnt provide as much board feel as a regular vulc sole. i dont like the g2 platinum insert. i like the 6 shooter and regular g2 heel inserts better. they're really grippy and seem to be lasting fairly well. a good shoe lasts at least a month and a half, these will.
Pros: breaks in easy, long lasting soles, looks great, stylish, durable, sole keeps grip a long time, comfortable, good grip
Cons: poor board feel, g2 platinum hurts

how thin is this shoe exactly?

i had a pair of the original AL50's It's Time edition shoes and i thought they're kinda thin, but not too thin once they're broken in, but how thin is this shoe compared to the original AL50s? like specifically the tongue of the shoe

Aircraft-grade kingpins work with a strong baseplate to deliver that quick turn response Thunder is known for. 145, Axle 7.65" works well with deck widths 7.4" - 7.9". 147, Axle 8" works well with deck widths 7.9" - 8.2". Set of two trucks.

 Thunder Hollow Lights Low Trucks
Thunder Hollow Lights Low Trucks
145mm Axle 7.65 Hollow kingpin, hollow axle, & aircraft grade aluminum base. Set of 2 Trucks.

i'll be riding an 8.25 deck soon, would the 147s still be ok for it?

i refuse to ride a trucks wider than a decks width. i actually like about 1/8th of the deck to hang over on each side.

The Fallen Slash is the perfect kick to shred in. Brian "Slash" Hansen's first pro shoe combines the easy rider look and feel you'd expect to see under Slash's board stomping feet. The suede/canvas upper provides you with a fresh style, and great durability. The EVA insole provides great cushioning upon impact for those long days of hardcore boardin’. Foam padded collar and tongue. Vulcanized sole.

does this colorway also have the design on the tongue that is only SLASH in stead of the goathead pentagram?
