 Lakai Carroll 5 - Men's
Lakai Carroll 5 - Men's
Mike Carroll strikes again with another design and doesn't disappoint. Built for the once Skater of the Year from Thrasher Magazine, the Lakai Carroll 5 is capable of handling the most hardcore boarding sessions. The suede and leather upper provides both durability and style. The upper also has form-fitting properties, to give you a great connection with your board. Flexible vulcanized construction. Tacky gum rubber outsole. Molded PU shock absorbing insole.

Cons: sole loses grip, rips easy, soles wear out, poor grip, laces break easily, non-durable, does not break in quickly

Torey Pudwill is unstoppable: Waist high pop, slides for days, and a killer signature shoe. All hail T-Puds! The suede upper provides great durability and style. Mid-top silhouette offers additional ankle support. Highly flexible for ultimate board control. Custom embroidery details. Non-slip vulcanized outsole. "I’m really into skating in mid-top shoes. So right then and there I wanted to do a mid-top cause I wanted a shoe that I was comfortable in. And I wanted it to look cool when it was all beat up and stuff. I just wanted something I knew I would feel good in, skating. And I never had a skate shoe that fits on my foot as good. I’m not trying to hype it up but realistically; I can’t skate in any other shoe." -Torey Pudwill

Ive had these shoes for about 4 or 5 weeks now and they are starting to rip and tear. They are good shoes but if your jumping down stuff they are horrible. I got heel bruise the first thing i kicked out on. but i do love these shoes skated really well (If you like thick shoes if not dont buy) Hard to find in cool colors but overall good shoe but needs some work.
Pros: breaks in easy, good board feel, stylish, durable, good ankle support, comfortable
Cons: sole loses grip, soles wear out, rips easy, poor grip, non-durable, poor cushioning, not good for jumping down stuff.

Nike SB Koston - Men's
With 26 years of skating experience, Eric Koston channeled extensive riding knowledge into the making of his first signature Nike shoe. The Nike Koston shoe takes a very basic design and loads it with latest technology for superior performance and durability. Uppers constructed of leather/suede, nubuck or mesh for durability and beathable comfort. Stitchless lining construction coupled with TPU reinforced suede prevent ripping and toe blowouts from continuous skating. Lunarlon sockliner adds protection from heel bruising, yet it’s thin enough for excellent board feel. Breathable mesh tongue prevents sweaty feet during extended riding sessions. Circular herringbone tread pattern and flexible cupsole offer insane levels of grip, flexibility, and board control. Additionally, a neoprene collar provides long-lasting comfort. Uppers made of leather/suede, nubuck and mesh. Stitchless lining construction coupled with TPU reinforced suede. Lunarlon sockliner. Breathable mesh tongue.
