The jeans hold up fairly well. I've had a couple pairs for 3 years and I still skate in them. The zipper sometimes breaks though.
Pros: stylish, runs true to size, durable, comfortable

Sweet classic style has been upgraded to meet the demands of modern day skateboarding. This beloved style features a single-density polyurethane (PU) midsole that keeps the Vans Era Pro lightweight and flexible, while a combination insole stabilizes the heel and elevates flexibility where you need it. Suede/canvas upper tops it all off. Duracap rubber provides extra reinforcement at the toe and ollie patch, so your shoes have a longer life. S hoe flexes at the ball of your foot, heel remains stable. Lace them up easily due to metal eyelets.

The era has great board feel and breaks in easily, but it rips very easily too. The sole gets holes pretty quick as well. Use some glue for the ollie area and it can hold up for a while.
Pros: breaks in easy, looks great, good board feel, cool colors, runs true to size, stylish, comfortable, good grip, laces don't break
Cons: sole loses grip, soles wear out, rips easy, non-durable

Developed by the Vans skate team, the Chukka Low is aimed directly at you. Premium suede and canvas upper for a durable feel. Rider-designed colors and details. Drop-in PU midsole for cushioning. Vans signature gum rubber waffle outsole for top traction.

This shoe looks great but I've had 2 pairs and the toes of both of them blew out in less that a few hours of skating. Not bad for a chiller shoe, but won't last you long skating.
Pros: breaks in easy, looks great, good board feel, stylish, comfortable, good grip
Cons: rips easy, non-durable

How is the sizing listed?

On the sizing, is the inseam listed first, or waist?

What happens when you combine the minimalist upper of the Janoski with the latest in sneaker innovation? The answer lies in the design of the Janoski Max. Low-top profile. Engineered mesh upper. Speckled running midsole contains an Air Max FREE-inspired sole and Air Max cushioning in the heel.

Are you supposed to skate these?

The material these shoes are made out of look comfortable and good for running maybe, but I don't think those would last 2 seconds skating.

sliding

between the spitfire f1 wheels and the ricta naturals witch would be better for sliding.
I love sliding on spittys. They slide really well and hardly ever get flat spots. If they do, you can ride them out pretty quick. Rictas get flat spots very easily.
